1995 Mercedes 7 seater automatic estate car in blue, with 223, 600 miles on the clock, and a full MBSH until just under 200, 000 miles. History is patchy since then, but the engine and gearbox are very smooth, pulling like a train when the urge occurs, but most happy just cruising along. A new catalytic converter was fitted last week, and the car passed the MOT on 25th Sept 2009 with no advisory notes. I bought the car for my wife but she prefers our Citroen Picasso, so I'm reluctantly selling her (the car). I've grown quite fond of the old girl in the short time I've had her, there's something really endearing about the faded elegance of an old Mercedes. It's surprising how many admiring glances a 14 year old car draws - must be the badge ! The good points - Full MBSH up to 200, 000 miles. Really smooth engine and gearbox. Passed MOT with no advisories (now MOTd until Oct 2010). Taxed until 31st March 2010. Lovely cream cloth interior with hardly any signs of wear. 7 seats.
